Eilya Inclusive Primary School & Vocational Training Centre in Warispura, Faisalabad, stands as a testament to the transformative power of education and opportunity for underprivileged communities. Established on June 1, 2020, the project was born from a deep understanding of the struggles faced by families in this area—struggles rooted in poverty, limited resources, and a lack of educational access. Eilya Care Foundation recognized these challenges and resolved to break the cycle of despair with a beacon of hope and empowerment.
From the outset, the Warispura Project set out to offer more than just education; it sought to open doors to a better future. Children from low-income families found a place where their dreams could begin to take shape—a place where learning was not a privilege, but a right. With every lesson taught and every story read, these young minds began to see a world beyond the limitations of their circumstances. The Warispura Project became a safe haven where children’s potential could flourish, unhindered by the weight of poverty.
But education alone was not enough. The project also aimed to equip individuals with practical skills that could lift entire families out of financial hardship. A dedicated vocational training unit was established, focusing on teaching young women the art of stitching and other crafts. Here, needles and threads weave not just fabric, but stories of resilience and independence. With each stitch, these women find hope, self-worth, and the chance to support themselves and their families. The stitching unit is a place where skills become lifelines, changing lives one creation at a time.
In 2023, the project took a bold step toward inclusion by introducing a dedicated classroom for children with special needs. Every child deserves a chance to learn and grow, regardless of the challenges they face. This new classroom embodies Eilya’s belief that no one should be left behind. Here, children receive tailored care and support, allowing them to thrive in a nurturing environment that celebrates their unique journeys. It is a space where every milestone, no matter how small, is a triumph.
Community involvement is woven deeply into the fabric of the Warispura Project. Eilya works hand in hand with families, creating awareness about the importance of education and fostering a sense of collective responsibility. Together, they build a network of support that uplifts not just the children but the entire community.
The project’s achievements speak of its unwavering commitment to change. Thirty-five women have already completed training at the stitching unit, finding employment and transforming their families’ futures. The continuous enrolment of students from low-income backgrounds ensures that quality education remains accessible. The recent addition of the special needs classroom underscores Eilya’s dedication to inclusivity and holistic growth.
The path has not been without its trials. Limited resources and infrastructure present constant challenges, as does the need to sustain the vocational training programmes and recruit skilled educators for special needs children. But each obstacle is met with resolve, driven by a mission to provide hope where it is most needed.
The Warispura Project is not just about education and training—it is about changing lives, breaking cycles of poverty, and creating opportunities where none existed before. Every day, students walk through its doors, and young women enter the stitching unit, ready to shape their own destinies. They carry with them the belief that they are capable of more, and Eilya stands beside them every step of the way.
