Asadullah, an 8-year-old boy, joined the Eilya Foundation on January 12, 2022, where he has hearing impairment congenitally. He was born with this condition, where his parents and other siblings also have this syndrome .

Despite the challenges, Asadullah’s parents have been very supportive of him. However, due to his condition, Asadullah needs constant attention and care. If he feels ignored or that others are not fully engaged with him, he tends to react with aggression, which has become a behavioral challenge.

Despite his difficulties, Asadullah is a very intelligent child who quickly grasps new concepts. He has made significant progress in learning sign language with the help of the foundation.

Currently, he can understand about 60% of the signs, which is a great achievement. The foundation has also provided him with psychological sessions to help manage his aggressive behaviour and improve his social interactions. Their efforts have started showing positive results, as he is now more active in social activities and able to perform his daily tasks more smoothly.

Looking forward, the foundation plans to continue improving Asadullah’s sign language skills, which will make it easier for him to communicate with others and become more socially connected. They also aim to build his confidence, enabling him to understand others better and convey his thoughts more clearly. Another important goal is to reduce his aggressive tendencies, which still surface from time to time. With these efforts, it is hoped that Asadullah will continue to develop and overcome the challenges he faces, leading to a brighter and more independent future.
